We found out a couple of days ago that the pipe going from the garbage disposal out is completely ripped and water and trash has leaked into the kitchen wall and underneath the house. This is what it takes to fix it (besides manual clean-up and plumbing)

For the first time since we got to Los Angeles on July 29th, we had rainy weather. They were saying on the news that there were many traffic accidents because of the rain. I guess people aren't used to driving in "slippery conditions."Well, now it's dry again so I guess we'll see when the next "rain storm" is coming (they called it rain storm on the news, I would personally have described it as moderate rain and a bit windy)
