Sightseeing

Thanksgiving
Post turkey nap

After dinner, we took a walk over to a house with holiday decorations you could probably spot from space
Very proud

Currently, we're just enjoying spending time together with my parents and sister. The weather is absolutely gorgeous.

Santa Claus is coming to town (in november!)

Needless to say, the firetruck was more fascinating than Santa
With Grandma and Grandpa Bagley
Help!
We had a busy Saturday. In the morning, we met up with Grandma and Grandpa Bagley at the Galleria mall in order to watch Santa arrive in a fire truck. A little later, Aunty Jo and Uncle Rich came to visit us as well. In the afternoon, we headed to Boca for the Swedish Christmas fair. They also had a Lucia procession which sounded nice but had been taken over by Swedish retirees. At least the Lucia was younger than 50. Check out Anna's blog for pictures (my camera had run out of batteries).

We were lucky enough to run in to Santa Claus himself and Liam got a little one-on-one time. Although he admired his beard, he wasn't sold on sitting in his lap.

woops

Tuesday we met up with Philip, Anna, and her parents at the Palm Beach Zoo. It was a cozy little zoo and not too crowded so the boys could run around. Anna's parents were really nice and they made me miss my own parents. Luckily, they are coming on Tuesday together with my sister Lina.

Secret Woods Nature Center

Liam strolling

Generally, I don't like any nature trails with pictures of alligators next to them. Note the fear in Jason's eyes.

New Florida meets old Florida

Today we were outside enjoying the gorgeous weather at Secret woods nature center. It's situated close to our house, but because they don't allow pets we haven't been there before. There were several nature trails through the woods and swamp. Also, there were wooden walking bridges out to the New River. Since Liam wants to observe every little thing, it takes about 20 minutes to walk 50 yards. We were lucky to see lots of butterflies and spiders, and even luckier not to encounter any snakes or alligators.

My little bookworm

This past week, Liam has been cracking me up. Several times as I've been busy in the kitchen, I've heard that eerie silence that usually means that Liam is doing mischief in another room. So in a panicky mode I've gone looking for him while calling his name, only to find him sitting in his armchair quietly reading a book. Every time he looks up at me as if I'm nuts.

Another funny episode happened the other night as we were having dinner. Jason was trying to tickle Liam, whereupon Liam looked at Jason with a strict face, swayed his index finger and firmly said "nä, nä, nä." (no,no, no)
(the way I do when Liam gets in trouble). Jason and I were both hysterical laughing.

Under the oaktree

You are the sunshine of my life
Thats why I'll always be around,
You are the apple of my eye,
Forever you'll stay in my heart

It's my blog so I can be as cheesy as I want.

Check out Anna's website for great pictures of Liam and Philip trick or treating in Boca. They are so cute together. You can find the link to the right under "Our friends"

Halloween

Philip the vampire is checking if Liam's teeth are as sharp as his.

Liam and Luc at Barnes and Noble

Yesterday was halloween so of course we had to do our share of "trick or treating." First, we did a round up in Boca with Philip and later in the evening we went though our neighborhood. It was great fun, we have such nice neighbors and Liam did a good job collecting candy for Jason and me to enjoy.

Thursday we went to a pumpkin-carving party at one of the neighbors house and that was really nice too.
