Pregnancy complications gone with the wind!

Today's ultrasound revealed that the blood clot which once caused so much anxiety at 8,5cm by 3cm, (3,5 by 1,5 inches) has completely disappeared. Also, the placenta had moved up about 5cm (two inches) and is therefore no longer near the exit.

I have an appointment with my regular ob this friday, and I believe she'll give me the ok to start living normally and let me go on vacation! I'm so happy right now!
My only concern is that this baby might be a little nutty. He was going wild during the ultrasound. However, that should make it easy for me to burn of the pregnancy pounds...

Boating in Naples

Olivia and the guys took the opportunity to go for a boat ride in Naples. I stayed in the grandparents condo enjoying the A/C.

A funny episode took place at Outback steakhouse the other night. It was getting pretty late and we were all quite hungry (especially Jason and his dad who had been working on the floors all day). As I was placing my order, Liam started chanting "VI VILL HA MAT" (We want food) - a favorite phrase from one of his books. I almost cracked up and I was thankful that the waiter didn't understand what he was saying.

Olivia and Grandpa Bagley are here!

Last Tuesday Liam's cousin Olivia and Grandpa Bagley came down from Maine and Boston to visit. I think Liam is enjoying Olivia's calm energy. He calls her "Dibi" and he likes to keep track of what she's up to. Jason and Grandpa Bagley are getting a whole lot done around the house, including installing new bamboo floors and fixing up our kitchen. Grandpa Bagley seems to know how to do everything and we are very grateful for his help!

some new pics

.

The other day Jason got Liam a guitar. He loves it and sings along as he's playing

We spent independence evening over at Ann-Sofi and Edny's. Liam and Jason took the opportunity to cool off in their pool. It's getting to be very hot and our outdoor activities are limited. I take Liam to the playground around 8am in the morning but it's still hot at that time so he usually wants to go home by 9am. Today I'm taking him to the neighborhood pool.

Yesterday, Johanna and our norweigan friend Annike came by along with her son Isaac, 8mos. Liam really liked Isaac and gave him toys and patted him. However, he didn't appreciate Isaac sitting in my lap. It makes me think that when his own brother comes we might have some jealousy issues. But I'm sure it will be ok eventually.
