After a long journey we're back in town. Thr trip went really well, and Liam and Erik did awesome.

Today we went to see our friends in Boca. As usual, we had a great time!

By the way, my weight this morning was at 141lbs (64kg) so I reached my goal weight. I was surprised considering I had fika about 3 times a day in Sweden. Even if I lose more weight I won't report it here...

one of the great things about being home is seeing my little niece Elina. She is super-cute and a great talker. She just turned two but she speaks like a 3-year old and sings like one as well.

First day in the snow

Today Elina, Ida and Nils came over to see us. It was Elina's second birthday and we got the honors to spend it with her. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the snow, eating waffles and playing inside. It feels great to be home and seeing everyone!

We're in Sweden!

Finally, we've arrived in Sweden after a long journey! We started out in Fort Lauderdale and wound up in Kalix, Norrbotten via Detroit, Amsterdam, Stockholm and finally LuleƄ. Despite spending 17 hrs in the air, the trip went really well. I'm very proud of Liam, since he was very well behaved the whole way. Actually, people came up to me to say what a good boy I had.

We flew Delta, and I must say it was a very good choice of airline. In Detroit, a very kind gentleman named Scott Harris came and escorted us to our next flight. Another highlight was the stern but friendly Dutch stewardess who asked me if she could take Erik (she probably saw how tired I looked). She then proceeded to put him on his hip and parade him around the cabin. Erik was loving the attention he got from people.

The first thing Liam said when we landed in Stockholm was "I wanna go jump in the snow!" The landscape is all covered in the white stuff and the sun is shining, which makes it absolutely beautiful outside. I can´t wait until he wakes up and we can go out to play. My parents have set up a whole playroom for the grandkids so it was really hard to get Liam to bed last night. We finally crashed at 1am (which is 7pm east coast time).

Liam really misses his dad, but we have skype so we can talk over the computer. All in all, we're very excited to be here and I look forward to seeing everyone. Pictures to follow...
